Fair warning for later, I might liveblog Eurovision.

I usually don’t really SPAAAAAAAAAM but if anyone wants to tumblr saviour it, I’ll make up a tag or something, just tell me.

Free concert featuring band I love next week! adggdjjgd as if the AWESOME Eurovision week wasn’t enough.

I’m not hoping for a repeat of the last time they did a free concert, though.

You see, it’s custom for people to yell at concerts that “if you don’t start to jump you’re [something]”. Depending on the crowd, it might be “you’re a fag” or any other thing considered offensive (such as “you’re a fan of [soccer team]”, because fuck you - I mean, because it’s Argentina).

But with one of the bands in the past free gig it was “IF YOU DON’T START TO JUMP YOU’RE BRITISH” (again, this is Argentina we’re talking about).

So there we were, myself, a friend who doesn’t have a tumblr, Paula and Annya, the only four people not jumping like madmen. This was it (the article’s in Spanish, but if you’re interested, I just want you to see the picture. I could swear we were the only 4 people not jumping, and I think what you see there wasn’t even half of the people present).

And I get all ┻━┻ ︵ヽ(`Д´)ﾉ︵ ┻━┻ because using “England” or “British” (or any nationality, REALLY, but again, because it’s Argentina I’m all ready to blow up any time I see an insult about the UK coming) as an insult irks me and I just want to yell “GROW THE FUCK UP YOU BASTARDS”.

Windows 98, as a Tumblr theme (updated)

A few days ago I released a conversion of Windows 98 into a Tumblr theme. A lot of people seemed to quite like it, but I got a lot of feedback saying people wanted more personalization, so that’s what I’ve added. The changes are as follows:

• New: you can now change the desktop background color
• New: you can now add custom pages that will show up as folder icons on the desktop
• New: My Computer (home), My Documents (ask), Network Neighbourhood (submit), Folders (pages), Recycle Bin (archive) icons are all toggleable if you don’t want them to display
• New: captions on photos, videos, audio posts are toggleable so you can hide them if you don’t want them
• New: the space where the “File”, “Edit”, etc. tabs in Windows 98 used to be now display the post timestamp and note count
• New: clock in bottom right actually works, uses whatever timezone your blog is set to use
• New: reorganised the way images are handled to reduce page load time plus loads of other stuff to make it a bit nicer to use!
